In addition to online poster sales for collectors and music fans, The Gig Gallery provides a wide variety of services to the music and art industries, including print publishing and sales, publicity and promotion, artist promotion and booking/agency.

Publishing

Sales

This is where we started, and we'll always hold collecting deep in our hearts.  We remember the feeling of finding a poster tube on the doorstep when we opened the screen door, and we love spreading that around.  We are always looking to add to our store inventory, so if you're an artist or collector with some extra prints lying around, contact us about wholesale buying.   We were selling, shipping and storing prints long before The Gig Gallery was even a flicker in our consciousness.  Let us do the selling so you can spend your time creating and/or collecting.

Consignment Sales & Order Fulfillment

The Gig Gallery also does consignment sales and order fulfillment.  If you have some art to sell and you just can't stand the idea of a miniature city of cylindrical cardboard skyscrapers in your living room, email us and let us know how we can help.  Ship one box to us and let us pack and ship the tens and hundreds of tubes to individual buyers.  We offer competitive consignment rates--just email us with some details and we'll tell you how we can help.  Don't mind the shipping part, but just want to increase your internet presence and offer your art for sale through another outlet?  We can even sell your stuff here and let you take care of the shipping. 

Publicity and Promotion

We publish posters.  We produce events.  We write.  We listen.  We blog.  We're out there and we're in there.  We get excited about stuff and we want to share it.  Let us help you share what you're excited about. 

If you've got something cool coming down the line related to music or art, fill us in. Email us your news or submit it with our form, and If we're really jazzed about it, chances are we'll mention it somewhere on one of our five running blogs (News, Art of the Day, Music of the Day, Deal of the Day, Upcoming Releases), all updated (almost) daily.

If you don't want to leave your news to the ever-shifting winds of our open-but-fickle tastes, consider advertising with us.  In addition to that image in the sidebar, all our paid advertisers get full update coverage on our blogs, as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages.  If you let us know about it, we'll let them know about it.  We also advertise The Gig Gallery all around the music and poster corners of the internet, and we're getting new visitors, fans and followers every day.

Event Production and Promotion

The Gig Gallery also produces and participates in music and art-related events, and when we throw a party, we carry all of our associations with us.  We've been producing local benefit events since 2003, long before we ever packed our first tube.  In 2009, we inaugurated Screens 'N' Suds, a celebration of the arts of concert posters and beercraft held at Capital Ale House in Richmond, VA.  Participating artists included Richard Biffle, Adam Stockton, Andrew Stronge, John Foster, Jeff Everett, Ryan Kerrigan, and No Division Design Syndicate, all of whom contributed to raising over $1200 for the MS Society and Young Audiences of Virginia.  Thinking about throwing a party?  Wanna invite us?  Want us to bring some dip?  We'd love to come.

Artist Management and Agency

In all our buying, selling, publishing, collecting, shipping, promoting and sharing, we've developed some great relationships and a heck of a contacts list full of stellar artists, designers, musicians, collectors, printers and other industry folks.  If you're an artist looking for work, we'd love to help you find it, and will often do it for trade.  Without your talents, we're not even here, so we figure we kind of owe you.  Email us to get on our radar.

The Gig Gallery offers custom framing through the Richmond, VA location of Frame Warehouse, a full-service picture framing company based in Charlotte, NC.  We offer everything from inexpensive, ready-made solutions to full-custom, archival quality framing.  We are very experienced in shipping framed art work, and welcome the opportunity to make your favorite poster or print look even more amazing.  If you have questions about materials, framing practices, design, or just want a second opinion on a frame job you're considering, we're always happy to answer questions via email.
